Darcy has been a Registered Psychiatric Nurse for more than 20 years and is the Network Representative for Northwest Saskatchewan.

He got involved with the union early in his career, serving as a Local President and SDC Chair for many years before running for a spot on the Board of Directors. Darcy credits a great mentor for his move to the Board, saying this mentor helped him build relationships and expand his knowledge of union activism. As a member of the Board of Directors, Darcy sits on the Lifetime Membership and Governance Committees.

In his free time, he enjoys landscaping and photography.
