Rachel has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and is the Network Representative for Southwest Saskatchewan.

She has a background in ER/ICU, mental health and also works in education focusing on mentorship. Her union involvement started almost immediately as she was fortunate to have strong mentors who fostered her spirit of activism. She began her union journey on the NAC committee, later took over as NAC chair, and eventually became President of SUN Local 69. Before becoming the Network Representative for the SW, she was the chair of the CB&R committee, on which she continues to serve as Board Liaison.

Rachel resides in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, with her high school sweetheart and husband, Shawn. She enjoys an active lifestyle, travelling, unwinding with a good book, listening to music and partaking in many of the arts and cultural activities Swift Current has to offer.
